​Volunteers and Exhibitors:
Please arrive by 9am for setup. After unloading your vehicle in the front of Tyson, move your vehicle and park in Lot A or Lot B as identified in the graphic below.  

​Please keep the main lot in front of Tyson as well as the lots closest to Amelia's for the event attendees.

Event Volunteering

​Volunteer for the Westside Electric Living Fair! Read the volunteer position descriptions before signing up.
  • Click the grey signup button below for the volunteer signup form.
  • Choose all options of interest and scroll to the bottom to click 'submit'. You know that your submission is received successfully when you receive an email with a copy of your registration info.
  • Volunteer positions are removed from the signup form once they are filled.
  • All volunteers must be at least 16 years old

Volunteer Position Descriptions
  • Traffic flow monitors the parking lots looking for bottlenecks and providing directions. Safety vests are required and will be provided.
  • Volunteer check-in helps ensure the volunteers find their area 
  • Area concierges (EV's, outdoor, exhibitor ) will monitor their area and will help out as needed, including providing directions.
  • Information table volunteers will greet the guests, explain the passport program, and answer questions.
  • Master Recyclers working at information tables can borrow a kit from Washington County or WPA.
  • The Induction cooking volunteers will use a portable stove and will demonstrate cooking an item.  A food handlers card is required and can be applied for online after online training.
  • The Education Room manager should be familiar with AV equipment and ensure talks start/stop on time.
  • Spanish Interpreters rove the event helping with translation as needed for Spanish language speakers.
  • Floaters will move around as needed, help provide volunteers with breaks and other tasks.
  • Setup and Tear down involves moving signage, tables, chairs, tents, and other equipment as needed.
